Giuseppe (Peppino) Impastato (1948-1978) was a journalist from Sicily. He spent his life fighting against crimes committed by the mafia. He was eventually killed by this criminal organization when he was just 30 years old. His commitment to fight the mafia through culture and information is a source of inspiration to continue to speak out openly against criminality.
