Show Notes

Chai Jing (1976, -) is a Chinese journalist and environmental activist. She became well known in her country for the documentary she directed denouncing air pollution in China. Despite the ban that the National Government imposed on it and the dangers she faced for criticizing the Party's actions, Jing was able to influence and stimulate her fellow citizens in taking action against pollution for the sake of their own health.
