Sophie Scholl (1921 - 1943) was a key member of the German World War II anti-Nazi resistance movement, The White Rose, which distributed leaflets and used graffiti to criticise Nazi crimes and the political system. She was beheaded for treason when she was 21 years old. By Klara Avsec
